Wow, this is a really crazy day. Not only Ryanair announced new routes from Prague and other cities to Barcelona and Madrid as we informed earlier, now the airline released news about even more new destinations.

Ryanair will start flying from Krakow to 14 new destinations from October 2017!

The destinations include Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Glasgow, Göteborg, Lisbon, Marrakech, Marseille, Malmo, Naples, Nuremberg, Prague, Sevilla and Tel Aviv.

Of course you can also fly in the other direction from these cities to Krakow.

If you take a closer look at the list of the new destinations, you can see there is one route that kind of stands out: Krakow-Prague. This is one of the shortest routes in Ryanair’s network which has no direct flights now and is served mostly by buses. Both cities are extremely interesting though and popular with tourists.

This is one of the biggest expansions in years and extremely interesting addition to already competitive Polish market.

To make this even more interesting, Ryanair also announced massive expansion in Israel: 15 new routes will be opened this Winter!

The new routes from Tel Aviv in Isreal are Baden Baden (2 weekly), Gdansk (2 weekly), Krakow (2 weekly), Milan Bergamo (4 weekly), Paphos (daily), Poznan (2 weekly) and Wroclaw (2 weekly).

In addition to Tel Aviv, 8 other new routes will be opened from Eilat (Ovda) airport in South of Isreal, close to borders with Egypt and Lebanon.

The destinations from Eilat are Baden Baden (2 weekly), Berlin (2 weekly), Brussels Charleroi (2 weekly), Frankfurt Hahn (2 weekly), Gdansk (2 weekly), Milan Bergamo (2 weekly), Poznan (2 weekly) and Warsaw (2 weekly).

Ryanair already flies from Eilat to Bratislava, Budapest, Krakow and Kaunas.

Like we wrote, this is one of the biggest expansions of Ryanair in recent years – the Irish low-cost airline usually adds just a few destinations to airports that are already served.

The tickets are not yet available in the Ryanair’s booking system but they will surely add the new routes soon and we can expect prices around €20 per one-way flight.

These new routes will definitely bring much needed competition to many of the routes and make travelling cheaper and more comfortable for everyone.

This is also a major challenge for Wizz Air, which focuses mostly on Eastern Europe. Ryanair so far somehow ignored this part of the continent but with these new routes it seems they decided to dominate this market as well.

Let’s see what will the next days bring, it seems Ryanair is really on a roll.
